If you want more sea, you’ll get more! We warmly invite you to our pre-tour in celebration of the OTD AGM 2025. The pre-tour can be booked as a whole or for individual days. The starting point is always Bad Zwischenahn. Accommodations are not included. Further information and prices for the pre-tour will be announced soon.

On Tuesday, May 20, 2025, our pre-tour continues to Emsland! 🚀 We will dive into the world of ocean giants with a visit to the Meyer Werft, where the most modern cruise ships are built. After that, we’ll stop at the impressive Emssperrwerk, a true masterpiece of coastal engineering.
We’ll round off the day in true tradition: a delicious seafood dinner awaits us right by the water in Ditzum. 🐟🍽️ Please note: The cost of dinner is to be covered individually.

On Wednesday, May 21, 2025, we continue our pre-tour with an exciting day in Wilhelmshaven! Here, we dive into the world of the navy and experience firsthand what it means to be on duty at sea. A must-see highlight for technology and maritime enthusiasts! 🚢💥
In the afternoon, we head to Jever, where we uncover the secrets of the region’s signature crisp and hoppy beer at the Jever Brewery. 🍺 After the tour, we will end the day in style: Malte Hülsbek will treat us to culinary delights at the Stadthotel Jever. 👨🍳🔥

P4: A Burst of Color on Two Wheels

🚴♂️ A Burst of Color on Two Wheels – The Grand Cycling Tour Through Ammerland! 🌸🌿
On Thursday, May 22, 2025, get ready for one of the absolute highlights of our pre-tour: a 40 km guided e-bike tour through the breathtaking rhododendron landscapes of Northern Germany! 🌺✨
The route takes you from Bad Zwischenahn through Wiefelstede to Westerstede and back, leading you through vast gardens, blooming avenues, and hidden floral paradises. Along the way, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to capture stunning photos of the rhododendron blossoms and enjoy the fresh air. 🚴♀️📸
Our experienced guides, Henning and Jürgen, will accompany you, ensuring an unforgettable experience full of nature, movement, and good vibes! 🌿🚲
🍻 Evening at Spieker – Tradition Meets Indulgence 🍽️🔥
After this spectacular tour, we’ll end the day in a relaxed atmosphere at the historic Spieker inn. Located within the Ammerländer Bauernhaus-Museum, this charming half-timbered house offers cozy rustic charm, regional specialties, and a large beer garden with views of the Zwischenahner Meer.
A special highlight of the evening: The traditional smoked eel dinner at Spieker! 🐟🔥
Here, you can savor the famous “Smoortaal” (smoked eel) – a Frisian delicacy that perfectly complements the maritime flair of the evening. If eel isn’t your thing, don’t worry – other regional specialties are also available on the menu.
